The focal stone in this necklace is called spiny oyster turquoise, a composite gemstone where spiny oyster shell and turquoise are bonded together. I have framed the stone with sterling and fine silver wire weaving. The pendant measures 1 1/4” and is hung on a beaded chain containing a variety of stones including turquoise, sunstone, carnelian and sterling silver measuring 18” with a 2” extender.
